Rebecca Coryell |
Rebecca Coryell is a senior from Portage, Michigan. Majoring in German, she plans on being a Physician Assistant, and using her love of languages in medical mission work. She first heard about Oxfam while growing up in England, and was excited to discover VT's Oxfam club during her freshman year. Inspired by the international scope of Oxfam's work, Rebecca has advocated for the GROW campaign at Coldplay's concerts, and promotes the motto of "think global, act local."

Jenna Mortweet |
Jenna Mortweet is a freshman from Loudoun County, Virginia. She is majoring in International Studies with a focus in Global Development and minoring in German and Women's Studies. She heard about Oxfam through her older brother, and has been a part of Oxfam events like dressing up as a carrot at a Coldplay concert to spread awareness about world hunger. Jenna hopes to use her studies and her work with Oxfam in order to assist her in pursuing a career in non profit work.

Madison Jones is a freshman from Northern Virginia. As of right now, she is majoring in Psychology. She has a passion for volunteering and always does her best to be involved with as many service organizations as possible.

Rachel Cronin |
Rachel Cronin is a freshman from Ashburn, Virginia. She is currently a University Studies major, but is interested in both the College of Science and the Pamplin College of Business. Rachel is involved in Oxfam at Virginia Tech because she says that she "wants to make a difference in not only her community, but also the world."

Dr. Luke Juran |
Dr. Luke Juran is a faculty member in the Department of Geography and at the Virginia Water Resources Research Center. Juran's research and teaching interests are primarily in the areas of water, sanitation, and disaster reconstruction. Juram conducts international research, primarily in India and South Asia, and became familiar with Oxfam after volunteering in Sri Lanka after the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.

Christopher Mortweet |
Christopher Mortweet founded Oxfam in the Fall of 2009 after participating in Oxfam America's CHANGE training. He graduated from Virginia Tech in June 2012 with a B.S. in Biochemistry, a B.A. in Philosophy, and a B.A. in Chemistry. His hometown is Ashburn, Virginia.
